Tickets to the 1893 Chicago World's Fair
Aka the Columbian Exposition. Just take a look at that printing; you could be holding paper money from a small duchy. The first is from a recent listing by eBay seller paperdraggin

I'm an engineer and genealogist and collector and publisher. Somehow I managed to spend twenty years in print graphics and computers, after an earlier career designing space communications hardware and measurement instrumentation. Every so often I get interested in something, and it always seems to end up as a website or a blog. This is one of them.
